Angler dies after fall from rocks
An angler has died after being swept off rocks into the sea in Cornwall.
He was fishing with friends on Friday at Rumps Point, near Polzeath, where sea conditions were described as rough.
Padstow lifeboat, Polzeath cliff rescue team and a helicopter from RNAS Culdrose were involved in the search for the man from Launceston.
He was pulled from the sea by a fishing boat before being airlifted to the Royal Cornwall Hospital in Truro where he later died.
