Tribute to cycle accident victim

Rick Morgan: Pic Devon & Cornwall Police

Tributes have been paid to a 61-year-old man who died after an accident in Cornwall last month.

Richard Morgan, from St Agnes, suffered head injuries when he had a stroke and fell off his battery-powered bike in the village on 19 August.

He died at Derriford Hospital in Plymouth 10 days later.

His widow Jeanette said Richard was a "true gentleman" who loved model railways, Egyptology, classical musicals and Dr Who.

She said he was a loving husband who left behind a devoted wife, a loving daughter and son-in-law and two grandchildren.

A statement said: "He also leaves two unfinished model railway layouts... which Jeanette says she aims to complete for him - sometime."
