A double-decker bus has crashed into scaffolding on the side of a house in Cornwall.

Windows near the back of the vehicle were smashed by the force of the impact as the bus hit the structure attached to a house on Broad Street in Penryn.

No-one was injured but the area was cordoned off to allow for safety checks on the vehicle, the building and scaffolding on one side of the house.

Police said the incident happened at about 1725 BST on Monday.
