Boy is airlifted after cliff fall
A boy had a "lucky escape" after falling 50ft (15m) from a cliff on to a holiday beach in Cornwall, said police.
The nine-year-old was found injured on the sand close to the Sunset Surf cafe on Gwithian beach, near Hayle, on Friday afternoon.
Emergency services were called and the boy was taken to hospital in Truro by air ambulance. He is not thought to have any broken bones.
He and his family, from Newbury in Berkshire, were on holiday in the area.
