Woman, 99, hurt in minibus crash

A 99-year-old woman is recovering in hospital after the minibus she was travelling in crashed into a ditch.

She broke both legs in the accident which happened on Tuesday afternoon on the A30 near Penzance.

A female driver and three other elderly passengers were also on board at the time of the crash, police said.

Traffic was disrupted while the emergency services carried out an investigation. During this time two blue police strobe lights were stolen.
