Appeal after woman's body found

Rame Head peninsular

The family of a woman whose body was discovered at the bottom of cliffs in Cornwall have thanked well-wishers concerned by their daughter's death.

Claire Bond's body was found at the bottom of Rame Head cliffs on 21 July.

The 27-year-old went missing from her home in Plymouth on Sunday. Coastguards were called out to search for her and found the body at Western Gear Beach.

Police are keen to speak to dog walkers who may have handed in a handbag to coastguards on Ramehead Lane.

Officers are hoping someone may have spotted Claire on the morning of her death.

She is described as white, 5ft 8in (1.77m) tall. She was slim with shoulder-length hair and was possibly wearing jeans and a shirt.
