Woman questioned about bed fire

A 40-year-old woman has been arrested in Cornwall after her partner was burnt when their bed was set in fire.

Ambulance crews were called to the Hillsview Estate in Polperro early on Friday morning where they treated a man who had suffered burns.

Police said a bed in the flat the woman shared with her 50-year-old partner had been set on fire.

The woman is being questioned in connection with causing arson with intent to endanger life.

Minor damage was caused to the inside of the house.
