Man killed as quad bike overturns

A 54-year-old man has died after a quad bike overturned in Cornwall.

The quad bike was towing a trailer when the accident happened on the single-track Long Lane at St Erth, near Hayle, on Tuesday evening.

The man, who has not yet been named, was trapped underneath the vehicle and was later declared dead at the scene by emergency services.

Officers from Devon and Cornwall Police are appealing for more information about the accident.
