Cyclist seriously hurt in crash

A man is in a serious condition in hospital after an accident in Cornwall on Sunday night.

Emergency services were called to the collision on Dracena Avenue in Falmouth involving a cyclist and a car at about 2130 BST.

The cyclist, who is in his 50s, was taken by ambulance to the Royal Cornwall Hospital in Truro.

Officers have appealed to anyone who may have witnessed the accident to contact them.
