Masked attackers break man's leg

Police in Cornwall are searching for two men who attacked a man with wooden staves breaking his leg.

The 57-year-old victim was about to get into his car at his home in Cusgarne, Truro, when he was attacked by the pair who were carrying lengths of wood.

He suffered a number of injuries, including a broken leg, in the assault at about 0900 BST on Saturday.

Police said both males were masked and wearing dark clothing. Officers have appealed for information.
