Lost father and daughter traced

A father and his 10-year-old daughter who were lost in fog on Bodmin Moor in Cornwall have been found safe.

The father called for help on his mobile phone when they became lost as fog descended on Rough Tor near Camelford just after 1530 GMT.

Cornwall Search and Rescue and a local farmer were called to help in the search for the pair.

They were tracked down about two hours later by a police dog handler and were reported to be in good health.

Police used sirens as a guide locator for the pair during the search.

They were well-dressed for the weather.
