Body recovered off Cornish coast

A body, believed to be that of a missing fisherman, has been recovered from the sea off Bude in Cornwall.

Police believe it could be a holidaymaker who disappeared while fishing off Padstow in July, although no formal identification has been made.

The 50-year-old man from Leicestershire failed to return from a fishing trip between Treyarnon Bay and Porthcothan Bay near Newquay on Saturday 14 July.

The body was recovered by a lifeboat crew and coastguards.
