Officers work to trace siege man

Police have been trying to trace a man seen walking away from a property in Cornwall which was the scene of a five-hour police siege.

Six police cars, a force helicopter and dog handlers searched a property in Pelynt on Thursday after reports a shotgun had been stolen.

The man was described as white, about 40, 5ft 8in (1.72m) tall, of medium build with short grey or blond hair.

He had on a dark-coloured, possibly green, three-quarter length coat.

He was seen walking in the direction of Barcelona Cross.
