Teenage rider in collision named

A 19-year-old motorcyclist who died in hospital after colliding with a van in Cornwall has been named.

Jamie Jaycock, of Liskeard, was riding a Honda 400 which collided with a Mercedes Sprinter van on the A390 at Merrymeet, near Liskeard.

Mr Jaycock suffered serious injuries and died in Derriford Hospital, Plymouth, on Sunday morning.

The accident happened early on Saturday evening. Witnesses have been urged to contact Devon and Cornwall Police.
