Beaches across Cornwall are being cleaned by volunteers this weekend as part of a campaign by the Marine Conservation Society.
More than 70 beaches will be targeted along both the north and south coasts as part of conservation work.
They include the large beaches at Fistral in Newquay and Gyllyngvase in Falmouth, as well as smaller coves at Gunwalloe and Readymoney.
Volunteers include surfers, Brownies and animal sanctuary staff.
Staff from the National Seal Sanctuary in Gweek are at Gwithian beach, clearing the area where they regularly release seal pups.
Members of Surfers against Sewage are taking part in the hope of removing dangerous debris which could affect their sport.
Some local councils are providing bin bags and protective gloves for volunteers.
