Visitors to Cornwall are being offered a daring alternative to the run of the mill bed and breakfast hotel.
The Mighty Oak Tree Climbing Company now offers tree-camping - with hammocks suspended 35ft (10.7m) above the ground among the branches of oak trees.
After spending the night in the four-cornered hammock, known as a tree-boat, guests are then treated to breakfast in the trees.
Bethany Stock from the company said: "It is certainly a unique experience."
"It's like being right inside nature"
Bethany and her husband Alan moved from Colchester to St Columb in Cornwall six years ago and set up a business which offers the chance for holidaymakers to use ropes and harnesses to scale the trees.
Alan, a tree surgeon, went to the US to train in tree-climbing with Tree Climbers International, which is where he first saw tree camping.
"We thought it would be great to try it here as part of our tree climbing business," said Bethany.
After an al-fresco evening meal guests climb up to the hammocks and are tied in at all times by rope and harness.
An instructor also spends the night in the trees with each group and according to Bethany there is nothing else like it.
"For me it's about being completely at one with your natural surroundings and being connected to the outdoors," she said.
"It's like being right inside nature."
A solo guest can expect to pay £200 for a night in the trees while the price falls to £140 per person for a group of two to five people.
