Raid uncovers 400 cannabis plants

Cannabis plants found in the house

An early morning police raid on a house in Cambridgeshire uncovered a cannabis factory and a man has been arrested.

Officers carried out the raid at a property in Westbury Road, St Ives.

A police spokesman said the house "had a crop of plants which could number up to 400". The plants are still being counted by officers.

No further details were given of the arrested but is currently at Huntingdon Police Station where he will be questioned, a police spokesman said.
