Cash machine stolen in pub raid

Thieves stole a cash machine from a Cambridgeshire pub after using a 4x4 to pull a door from the building.

The gang attached chains to the door at the Wheatsheaf pub in Eastfield Road, Peterborough, before using the vehicle to pull it off.

They then removed the cash machine before leaving in the vehicle, which Cambridgeshire Police said was thought to be a dark colour.

Anyone who witnessed the theft on Tuesday is asked to contact police.
