Witness appeal after fatal crash

A man was killed when his car crashed on the A428 in Cambridgeshire.

Cambridgeshire Police said the man was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident in Cambourne.

The man's car was the only vehicle involved, a spokesman said. Part of the road was closed while police started an investigation into the accident.

Officers investigating Wednesday's crash appealed for witnesses to contact them. No details of the man's identity have been released.
