County will tackle credit crunch

Plans to limit the impact of the credit crunch have been unveiled in Cambridgeshire.

The county held a special meeting of Cambridgeshire Together to discuss alleviating the economic downturn.

The group is made up of organisations such as Age Concern, the police, fire service, and county council.

It has agreed a range of measures including investing in training for those out of work and offering advice on a dedicated website.
