Students de-stress hospital staff

Students are to stage a de-stress day for 120 staff at a major hospital in Cambridgeshire next week.

Addenbrooke's Hospital is to welcome Cambridge Regional College students who will provide free massages, pedicures and manicures to help staff unwind.

Bonnie Watson, from Addenbrooke's Life, said: "De-Stress Day gives our staff a nice opportunity to unwind.

"Working in a hospital can be hectic at times but we don't want to see staff letting things get on top of them."

Emma Yeoman, beauty therapy lecturer, said: "Students are studying for Level 3 NVQ in beauty therapy at the college.

"This sort of experience will help them in both demonstrating and enhancing their skills in delivering professional beauty treatments. It will also prove beneficial in helping them hone their skills in dealing with clients and perfecting their customer services skills."
