Woman arrested after armed siege

A woman has been arrested by police using a stun gun following a 28-hour armed siege.

The stand-off ended at 0130 BST on Saturday when armed officers entered an address in Drayton Close, Cherry Hinton, Cambridge.

Officers used a Taser gun before arresting the 27-year-old woman.

Two children, aged one and two, who were at the same address, have been taken into care by Cambridgeshire social services.
