A video recorded by police of a girl of 11 claiming she was sexually assaulted by Soham killer Ian Huntley has been shown for the first time.
Hailey Giblin told detectives in 1998 that Huntley had lured her into woods and attacked her.
In the film of her police interview, shown by ITV News, the young girl can be seen fighting back tears.
She says Huntley said: "Shut up or I'll kill you." Mrs Giblin, now 19, hopes to launch a private prosecution.
She said: "I just want to try and get him prosecuted because of what he's done to me and try to prevent it happening to other people."
Anonymity waived
In 2002 while working as a caretaker at a school in Soham, he murdered schoolgirls Holly Wells and Jessica Chapman.
Mrs Giblin, now 19, was also critical of the original Humberside Police handling of her complaint. She said: "I don't think they listened."
A spokesman for Humberside Police said Mrs Giblin "obtained the video herself and published it, waiving her right to anonymity".
Det Ch Supt Gavin Baggs, head of crime management in Humberside, said: "In July 1998, 11-year-old Hailey reported an indecent assault allegedly committed by Huntley.
Conviction 'doubtful'
"The alleged incident took place some 10 months earlier in September 1997.
"An investigation was conducted in 1998 by experienced officers and following the investigation a decision was taken by the police that there was insufficient evidence to mount a prosecution.
"Following the conviction of Huntley, Mrs Giblin asked us to reinvestigate the alleged indecent assault that had been reported by her in 1998."
He said following the reinvestigation a file was submitted to the Crown Prosecution Service which "concluded that there is no realistic prospect" of a conviction.
This week a judge is due to announce the minimum number of years Huntley must stay in prison.
