Second man is charged with murder

Police have charged a second person with murder after the death of a man in Weston-super-Mare on New Year's Day.

Darren Plumley, 25, was found with multiple head and facial injuries in the road on the seafront and died later in hospital.

Two men walked into the town's police station on Friday and on Sunday one of them, aged 32, was charged with murder, the second, 26, was given police bail.

A 30-year-old man has already been charged with murder last week.
