GKN to unveil plans for Airbus
Engineering company GKN Aerospace is expected to reveal its plans later for the Airbus manufacturing site in South Gloucestershire.
GKN Aerospace, which has operations in 30 countries, took over the Filton site in September 2008 at a cost of £136m.
GKN employs 1500 people at the site and will announce its plans at a news briefing.
The wing component and assemblies operation supplies Airbus aircraft including the A320, A380 and A400M.
