Man arrested after domestic row

Police sealed off an area of Bath to investigate reports of a "serious" domestic incident.

Avon and Somerset Police said a man had been arrested after at a property in London Road.

The road had reopened by 0900 GMT but the area between Upper East Hayes and Kensington Place remained closed until Friday afternoon.

An Avon and Somerset Police spokesman confirmed officers were not looking for anyone else in the inquiry.
