Man's face hurt in street attack

A man suffered serious injuries to his face in an assault in Kingswood, near Bristol, police have said.

The attack followed a row between two men in Moravian Road on Wednesday evening, an Avon and Somerset Police spokesman said.

"The 41-year-old man was struck in the face and suffered serious facial injuries," he said.

The attacker is described as a white man of about 40. Police appealed for witnesses to come forward.
