Man's legs run over by bulldozer

A man working at a waste recycling plant in Bath has been injured when a bulldozer ran over his legs.

The man was treated by paramedics from Great Western Ambulance at the Old Fuller Earth Works near Combe Hay before being taken to hospital.

"The patient had an open fracture, dislocation of his left ankle and significant other injuries," said paramedic leader Mark Harwood.

The site has been closed by police while an inquiry takes place.

The incident happened at about 1000 GMT on Friday.
