Man arrested over body in house

A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a woman's body was found at a house near Bristol.

The body of the woman, in her 40s, was found at an address in the Oldland Common area at 2030 BST on Wednesday, a police spokesman said.

The 50-year-old man was arrested at a nearby property he added.

On Thursday evening the man remained in custody and police said they were not seeking anyone else in connection with the incident.
