Roadworks lead to lane closures

Temporary lane closures are being introduced on the A4174 ring road around Bristol from Monday.

The move is to allow bridge strengthening repairs to take place.

Both carriageways of the road between Bromley Heath roundabout and Badminton Road roundabout will have one lane closed throughout the works.

Lane one of each carriageway will close during the first half of repairs. Lane two of each carriageway will be closed during the second half.

The work was expected to take around 12 weeks, said a spokesman for the Highways Agency.
