Five pedestrians injured in crash

Five pedestrians were injured when they were struck by a car in Bristol city centre on Saturday night.

A woman who was driving the car was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol after the incident in St Augustine's Parade.

Police closed the road for an hour to investigate the incident.

The five people are not thought to have been badly injured. The collision happened close to where actor Kris Marshall was struck by a car in April.
