Man dies after disturbance at pub

Park House pub

A man has died following a disturbance outside a pub in Bristol.

Officers were called to the incident outside the Park House in Bedminster on Saturday night, said a spokesman for Avon and Somerset Police.

A 51-year-old man had suffered serious stab and head injuries and was taken to Frenchay Hospital where he later died.

Another man aged 38 is stable in hospital after suffering a stab wound and a broken jaw. Three men have been arrested over the incident.

The men, aged 30, 27 and 19 are being held in custody at Broadbury Road and Trinity Road police stations.

Forensic enquiries were continuing in the area.
