Road reopens after fatal accident

The A37 in North Somerset has reopened after a fatal accident earlier.

A car driver died in a crash with a lorry at Temple Cloud, about 10 miles south of Bristol.

The road was closed for about four hours to allow the emergency services and collision investigators to work at the scene.

Motorists were advised to avoid the area and use alternative routes, such as the A368 or A39 via Marksbury. The road reopened at about 1230 BST.
