A new butterfly and moth exhibit is due to open at Bristol Zoo this summer.
The undercover walk-through attraction will be housed in a sustainably-heated climate-controlled polytunnel, set in a tropical rainforest theme.
Species being brought in will include the blue morpho, the glasswing, the leopard lacewing and giant atlas moth.
The exhibit will be linked to butterfly projects in Kenya and Costa Rica. The zoo already supports work to protect the silky wave moth in Avon Gorge.
Curator of invertebrates, Warren Spencer, said: "This exhibit will be a celebration of the amazing variety of butterflies and moths from all around the globe."
