Apology over cliff face painting

Paint on the Gorge The Army has apologised after parts of the Avon Gorge in Bristol were covered in pink paint.

The marks were made during a paintball exercise which has been running for the last week as part of a teambuilding game for teenagers.

An Army spokesman said they were the irresponsible actions of one person, and that disciplinary action was now being taken.

The paint is water soluble, and will wash off when it rains.
