Man is sought after jumping bail

Mohammed Korim A man released on bail after being arrested on suspicion of rape has disappeared.

Bangladeshi national Mohammed Korim, 27, was arrested in connection with the serious sexual assault of a woman in Banwell on 18 April.

Mr Korim - also wanted for questioning by the immigration services - was required to answer bail on 25 May, but failed to do so.

His whereabouts are unknown and police are appealing for information.

Mr Korim had been working in Banwell as a restaurant kitchen assistant.

He is not considered a threat to the public or a high risk offender.
