Lifeboat helps two while training

The Burnham-on-Sea RNLI lifeboat carried out two rescues while out on routine training on Sunday.

A personal watercraft owner, who had become stranded off Burnham was the first to receive aid from the crew who towed the craft to the town's jetty.

A twin-masted yacht was next to get help after its main mast collapsed leaving it stranded on its way from the River Axe to Minehead.

The yacht was then towed back to the River Axe.
