An eight-litre production car with an engine capable of 1,012 horsepower is due to hit the UK roads next year.
The £350,000 Bristol Fighter T has a theoretical top speed of 270mph, although this will be limited on production cars to 225mph.
A spokesman for Bristol Cars said the car was more powerful than 252mph Bugatti Veyron, believed to be one of the world's most powerful cars.
Only 20 cars will be built each year but not all of them the top T model.
The car will be hand-built at the firm's plant in Filton,
Bristol Car's managing director, Tony Crook, said the company had been producing the Fighter and the Fighter S since 2004.
"A lot of people have come to us and said 'I want even more power' so that's what we've done," he said.
The first Bristol Fighter T is expected to be completed in September 2007.
