Man arrested after cyclist shot

A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after shots were fired at a cyclist from a passing car.

The 19-year-old Bristol man was arrested on Tuesday evening in connection with the incident in Riverside Park in the city on 3 August.

The man is being questioned by detectives at Trinity Road police station in Bristol.

The injured man, who was shot in the leg, was taken to the Bristol Royal Infirmary by ambulance.
