City attack man appears in court

Christopher Kasozi A man charged in connection to an attack on a man in Bristol has appeared at Bristol Magistrates Court.

Christopher Kasozi, 23, from Lockleaze was left in a coma after he was attacked on 30 July. He remains in Frenchay Hospital in intensive care.

Adrian Williams, 37, from Knowle, has been charged with grievous bodily harm.

Williams made no application for bail and was remanded in custody. He is due to appear again at Bristol Crown Court on 18 August.

Police said although Christopher Kasozi had regained consciousness, he was unable to speak to officers.
