Man seriously injured in shooting

A man is in hospital with serious injuries after a shooting in Bradford, West Yorkshire.

The 33-year-old was shot in Killinghall Road, Thornbury, on Thursday night, police said.

He is receiving treatment at Bradford Royal Infirmary, but his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening, a spokesman said.

No arrests have been made. Police have appealed for witnesses to the shooting to come forward.
