Woman's death 'is not suspicious'

A man who was arrested after the discovery of a woman's body in West Yorkshire has been released after her death was found not to be suspicious.

The woman, in her 70s, was found dead at a house in the Altofts area of Wakefield at 1820 GMT on Monday.

Police officers attended the scene and arrested a man in his 40s in connection with the incident.

He has been released without charge after a post-mortem examination showed the death was not suspicious.

The dead woman's identity and the cause of her death have not been revealed.
