Appeal to find dead man's family

Police investigating the murder of a 72-year-old man in West Yorkshire have appealed for help to trace his family.

The body of Jankee Jaimungal was found in Maythorne Avenue, Staincliffe, Batley, on Tuesday. A post-mortem test revealed he died from head injuries.

Police believe Mr Jaimungal was widowed about 12 years ago but are trying to trace his relatives.

Two men, aged 21 and 45, and two women aged 20 and 44 are still being questioned on suspicion of murder.

Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone who knew Mr Jaimungal to come forward.
