Four teenagers have been remanded in custody after being charged with the murder of an taxi driver.
Michael David Hand, 19, and three other youths, who cannot be named, appeared before magistrates in Huddersfield.
They are accused of murdering Mohammad Parvaiz, 41, who was attacked while working in Golcar, Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, on Saturday night.
No application for bail was made for Mr Hand and two 17-year-olds. A youth of 16 was remanded to a secure unit.
All four, who are also charged with violent disorder, will next appear at Bradford Crown Court on 2 August.
A fifth boy, aged 16, is in custody after being arrested on suspicion of murder on Wednesday, police said.
An 18-year-old man arrested on Tuesday night is still being questioned.
Four teenage girls who were arrested have been released without charge.
Mr Parvaiz lived in Birkby, Huddersfield, with his wife of 15 years and their three children. He had been a taxi driver for seven years.
