An eight-year-old girl has been rescued after falling from a cliff in Dewsbury.

Four fire crews and specialist line rescue teams were called to Scar Cliff, Thornhill, after alarm was raised on Saturday evening.

They pulled the girl to safety and she was taken to Dewsbury District Hospital.
