Robber targeted pregnant woman

E-fit of the man police want to question Detectives hunting a man who carried out a violent attack on a heavily pregnant woman in Bradford have released an e-fit of the suspect.

The woman, who is six months pregnant, was approached by a man on Tong Street near its junction with Railway Street.

He demanded her bag before forcing her to the floor and kicking her repeatedly until she let go. He was last seen running off along Prince Street.

The woman suffered a bruised abdomen and was badly shaken, police said.

The robber is described as being slim, in his early 20s, 5ft 8-9in tall, with a gaunt face, prominent nose and dirty blond or ginger sideburns.

Anyone who recognises the description or the man in the e-fit is asked to contact West Yorkshire Police.
