Armed gang steal cash in robbery

A masked gang armed with a gun threatened staff when they robbed a shop in Berkshire.

Police have started an investigation into the incident at St Andrew's Food and Wine in St Andrew's Way, Cippenham, Slough, on Monday evening.

At about 1945 GMT the three men burst in carrying be a gun, a piece of wood and a sledgehammer.

They stole an undisclosed amount of cash and no-one was injured in the incident.

Anyone with any information about the robbery is asked to contact Thames Valley Police.
