Princess's missing dog comes home

Princess Beatrice's dog has returned home safe and well after going missing for more than two weeks.

The Duchess of York made an appeal to find her daughter's pet, called Max, after he was last seen chasing a squirrel into Windsor Great Park.

The cream and sand-coloured Norfolk terrier went missing on 17 December but returned home on Friday.

A spokeswoman for the family said they had given up hope and described it as a belated Christmas present.

Sarah Ferguson said her elder daughter was "devoted" to Max.

Posters of the dog had been put up in the area in the hope of locating the dog.
