Residents flee suspicious blaze

Residents from a three-storey building in Berkshire fled to safety in a suspected arson attack.

The second and top floors of the converted flats in Blenheim Road, Reading, were on fire on Friday.

About 20 firefighters managed to control the blaze and all the occupants had fled the building by the time crews arrived.

The incident is being treated as suspicious and police are investigating, a fire spokesman said.
