Woman hurt in hit-and-run crash

A woman was injured when her car collided with a lorry in Berkshire that failed to stop following the crash.

The woman was driving a Vauxhall Astra in Sutton Lane, Slough, near the Royal Mail building, when the accident happened on Monday afternoon.

The driver of the heavy goods vehicle failed to stop and exchange details with the woman, police said.

She was taken to hospital where she was treated for minor injuries. Police have appealed for witnesses to contact them.
